Completing Your Space With Gold Accents

Gold accents can enhance your space in many ways. It can affect your mood, and set a tone for a room. Whether it is bringing warmth, glamour, or elegance to a space, there are many ways to incorporate gold accents to your home to make it your own. A great way to incorporate gold accents into a Kitchen is through a range hood. This gold range hood creates a focal point in this room and adds the finishing touch to this contemporary space. I love the way it looks incorporated with the overall layout of the Kitchen. The gold finish brings out the veins in the marble surrounding it to create an overall harmony in this space. Who wouldn’t want to cook in here? The mix of gold and kelly green in this space is fabulous! These two colors really compliment each other and help to create an overall relaxing space. Incorporating gold with certain colors can determine the mood you are trying to set for the space. For example, gold with red would create more of a luxurious feel, compared to this comforting combination. Gold wall art such as this piece might be just what you need to complete a room. Without this beautiful gold accent, the office would look very generic. Now that the gold wall sculpture and gold lamps are added, it creates life. The light bounces off the sculpture and adds a metallic sparkle, and a dimensional aspect to this room. I love the use of metallic in this bathroom! The silver metallic wallpaper with the mix of gold accents creates a unique harmony. I especially love the gold accessories with the polished nickel plumbing hardware. It shows that not everything has to match, and gold can really be incorporated anywhere. I hope you feel inspired to add some gold acents into your life! It can really help to add that finishing touch you may need to complete your home. If you would like more inspiration, please feel free to view my work here. Gorgeous Mosaic Tiles!

Gorgeous mosaic tile work walls is a great way to give your home that unique touch.  Tiles can work with almost any style and can accentuate a bathroom or kitchen beautifully. I also love the idea of using these in other rooms in the house. When used correctly, these can be glamorous and timeless. I hope you are inspired by the images I have included below to show how this trend is being used. I love this bathroom by Pfuner Design. The soft flowing pattern and colors are great to turn your bathroom into a relaxing space. I love how the slight chrome accents in the tile work are emphasized by the chrome of the tub! This is a fabulous way that mosaic tiles can be used in a bedroom done by Sici’s Mosaics.  This room is glamorous and the contemporary design of the flowers keeps it fresh and from being overwhelming. A patterned mosaic tile like this, is great for an accent wall. I love how it makes the wall look glittery! I adore these larger than life roses that make you feel like you are in an English garden. This Italian Tile Art by Bisazza, shows how bold large scale mosaics, liven up a room, and almost look like a painting. Note how the rest of the room is very minimalist, for example the borderless mirror, so it does not compete with this beautiful detail. This white Kitchen, designed by Lilly Bunn Interiors, gains a pop of excitement and interest from the bold patterned mosaic backsplash behind the cooktop. I love the contrast between the white and black color of the tiles. It makes for a great accent wall in this space, and really adds charm! I hope that you have been inspired by these mosaic tiles and how to bring the elements into your home! Leather tiling for floors or walls is a gorgeous way to add glamour to any space. They are not only stylish and creative but they will age beautifully! Leather tiles are best used to draw attention to an area. By placing them behind the T.V., the T.V. becomes the focal point of this room. Also, they are great for bring unexpected texture. I love the way these tiles are incorporated with the textures from the ceiling, chandelier, couches, and all the other elements. I love the idea of using leather tiles behind a bed to add emphasis to the space. They are great for making a statement of luxury. These rooms look gorgeous; I love the mirrors for added texture! I also love these Textured Wall Panels. Using these make it easy to create a funky space while maintaining a classic and luxurious feel. How gorgeous would these be in your living room or bedroom? I also love the idea of using  these in a closet!   This is a fabulous company which I have come across, that features textured 3D PU leather tiles. The PU Leather is faux leather that also has a layer of water proof polyurethane.  This fabulous product brings forth a new dimension and concept for interior wall decorating. It enables a designer the ability to enhance flat walls with 3D surfaces that are not only visually rich, but also pleasing and stimulating to the eye.  I love the idea of using this material to transform a children’s play room or even using it in a home theater! Another marvelous company that really struck me was Bueno Glass. This is a form of art that utilizes blown glass to be placed on walls. They offer two different styles one for more rustic interiors which is the Stone Series and another which is more sleek and contemporary, the Silver Series. Despite their differences in appearance, they both are created using the methods of blown hot glass. All of the inspiration for these pieces is taken from nature in its purest for as you can see just simply from looking at the pieces, they are incredibly beautiful and offers an amazing opportunity for you to transform any wall into an open canvas! I hope that learning about these manufactures has inspired you to think about designing walls in a new and creative way! If you would like...

These marvelous glass crystals bring a warm elegance to any setting! Made from Quartz crystal, they offer the perfect element of interest. They can also be customized and can individually hang at any level to offer just the right look that you are trying to create for you space. As shown in some of the images above, I would love to see these staggered above a kitchen table. If you want a more modern approach to lighting, these light fixtures by Shakuff are fun and energetic with a side of elegance. They have just the perfect amount of subtle glow and they even offer a sweet sense of mystery. Now for an intergalactic look is this marvelous light from Moooi, is designed “Based on pure mathematics, the beauty of light has been re-defined; staring into the universe is now possible, also during cloudy nights. The intricate spheres of Raimond transport the electrical current”. The dynamic design approach that the artist took to create this light fixture it simply magnificent. This King Edison pendant lamp is exquisitely designed by Young and Battaglia. It is the perfect combination of rustic exposed elements, alongside a refined and sweet look. It is inspired from the iconic Edison Lamp and has been re-created with pure simplicity, also exuding the “romance and glamour of a king’s chandelier”. This would be perfect staggered in a grouping over a kitchen table as well, “small is beautiful meets a moment of genius”. How to Bring Out The Best in a Dining Room

Dining rooms are such a key part of a home, a space where people are able to connect and indulge in conversation, food and the overall joy and company of loved ones. When it comes to entertaining, whether it be for a small get together with close friends or a large event during the holidays, dining rooms must always be fabulous! I have decided to take a look into a few dining rooms that have really stood out to me, all with different design styles and tastes. I hope that you are able to be inspired by these interiors and find a look that reflects you! The colors of this Dining Room are fresh and rich; the chocolate ebonized paneling really makes the bright green chairs pop. If you are looking for a funky yet classic look, then this space is inspiration for you! This space is the perfect example of how to achieve a modern, bright, crisp and energized feel while using traditional and timeless pieces. Just through the pops of bright orange on the walls in contrast to the stark white trim, base and molding, the room is automatically brought to life. All of the furniture and accessories are traditional and have been updated with crisp colors. The final touch that is just to die for, are the dining chairs; there is not only an array or styles/lines in the chairs, but they have been upholstered in a great zingy yellow. Here is the perfect setting if you are dealing with a smaller space. Designer Alessandra Branca has achieved an incredibly fun and playful feel through the color scheme and patterns that are used on the walls and draperies. It is obvious that there has been much attention put into the colors and fabrics. Even the draperies that lead into the space feature the pinks and navy’s that are seen through the entire room. Something that is key is the fact that the touches of pinks can easily be taken out which would leave the room with a much more masculine and mature feel. Now for another even more girly and feminine look, is this dining room designed by Timothy Whealon. I am so in love with the ways, in which he has used the pinks on the chairs, upholstering the fronts, seats and backs in two different hues and prints. Despite all of the variation of...
