Favorite Finds From the Architectural Digest Home Show

As a follow up to my lace blog, here are some of my favorite finds from the recent Architectural Digest Home Show in NYC. I am always looking for that special one of a kind piece, to enhance my projects. These pieces surely do the trick.

The high gloss lacquer piano finish is what appealed to me about this desk. The floating desk was inspired by Italian designers. It has glass legs to create the illusion that the desk is floating in the air.

I am always looking for a fabulous Martini table to tuck next to a chair. This one is simply perfect. I love the exotic skins and color selections.

This Red Alive, mix media piece with silver leaf, was created using several techniques in order to transform the viewer’s experience and elevate traditional photography into a higher dimensional space.

Thomas Long

If you do not want another canvas painting on the wall, why not trade it for a hand blown glass wall sculpture? I sure would.

As you know, I am completely obsessed with bling! Just looking at this mug, I feel like a princess for a day. I can’t wait to get to my morning coffee, so that I can look at this exquisite mug and smile; it tastes better already.

Let me know which one is your favorite piece! From big to small, like always “it’s all in the details”.
