An Interior Designer Discovers Seven More Architectural Finds

Recently, at the Architectural Digest Home Show at Pier 94 in New York, I discovered some fabulous pieces. I have already reported here on some, but I just kept finding more to post.

Here are seven more finds from the Architectural Digest Home Show:

David Rasmussen Design - Artichoke Table

This reminds me of an artichoke cut in half. I love the shape of this table, and the beautiful design on the top. You can put a drink down, and not worry about water marks or spills.

Barry Entner Sculpture - Sconce

This sconce reminds me of a beautiful brooch my grandmother used to wear, that has been re-designed in a contemporary, new way. The light coming through the glass, would be stunning.

David Balyeat

This photograph looks like it would have been taken in India, or Bali, but it is actually in upstate New York. Wouldn’t you just love to jump into this water?

J. David Taylor - Bubble Chandelier

This bubble chandelier makes me smile, because it just simply looks happy. Maybe because it reminds me of the bubbles in champagne.

Lyons Glass - Floral Chanelier

This chandelier is a terrific study in using different variations of one color, and organic shapes.

Pacific Green - Lima Arm Chair

Pacific Green

This chair has such a wonderful line to it. You could completely change the look of the chair based on which fabric is used on it. As you see it here, it can look great in a sleek, contemporary setting, or a Zen retreat. If you used a flannel plaid fabric on it, it would look great in the Adirondack cabin, that I am dying to design one day.

Studio Roeper - Candy Coffee Table

These tables can be re-arranged and used as seating. The outside of the tables are wrapped in leather, which creates a nice contrast to the metal tops.

I am always on the lookout for new finds, so if you see any, please tell me about them.  Or, if I can show you, here is a place where you can check out some of my other discoveries.

Which of these seven new architectural finds is of most interest to you?
