It’s All About the Lace

Check out some items that I recently found at the Architectural Digest Home Show. These are some of my favorite items, which have a common theme of lace. Lace has been a popular theme for Interiors, whether it be an accessory or a light fixture. I love the way that the light flowing through these pieces, creates a beautiful shadow on the surrounding areas.

Maria Elena Minujin created a special “artisan” model for a chandelier entirely laced with crystals.  She combines crystals to accentuate their luster and showcase their drama.

Sandblasted glass expands into custom antiqued and leafed mirrors to make this lace-like effect, by the Artique Glass Studio.

Adrienne creates hand-cut-and-assembled gelatin silver photo collages, created from black and white photographs.

Ysabel Lemay

Ysabel uses a unique process called “photo-fusion”, by using hundreds of photographs taken, then light and visual properties are attuned, and then assembles one photo at a time to make a single composition, as seen above.
