Spring is Here! – Inviting Mother Nature Into Your Home

As it is the first day of Spring, it is only fitting to do a blog on Mother Nature. One of the most peaceful and calming settings that can bring anyone joy is the beautiful outdoors. Because of this, it is a key component when designing any space to openly invite and bring Mother Nature into your home. I have decided to take a look into some of my favorite ways in which you can display the outdoors in exquisite and one of a kind ways.

This textile from the Lucy Rose collection is just to die for. It has the perfect combination of a romantic and elegant, yet organic feel. It serves as the perfect way to bring a beautiful garden of flowers into your home!

David Oleski

David Oleski

David Oleski is an extremely talented artist who focuses on paintings of natural elements in the simplest and most beautiful ways. I am so in love with both of these paintings, with the apples and orange tulips. His style and technique is so distinct; all of his oil paintings have excessive depth and texture, adding to their allure and interest. The colors that he uses are incredibly pleasing and give off a young and fresh vibe. I would love to use these in any space to add a subtle and fun feel of Mother Nature.

I adore this “Mademoiselle” Armoire from KOKET; it is absolutely stunning! It has such an enchanting fairytale feel; to me this piece exudes energy in a magical setting. I almost get the feeling that this dresser would transport and lead into another world, like Narnia. There is a strong admiration and influence of French decorative arts; incorporating mesmerizing lux metals, vibrant jewel tones, exquisite craftsmanship and exotic stones. It is a piece that would bring your space to life as if it were a gift from Mother Nature.

Paul Ferrante

This lighting fixture from Paul Ferrante is magnificent; it is obvious that the design has been inspired directly from nature. I particularly adore the Dutch Metal Leaf Gold finish that has been applied to the rustic and outdoor branch to create this composition. I would love to see this Chandelier hung over any dining table to add a hint of Mather Nature into an eating area.

After having been introduced to these pieces, I hope that you have been inspired to incorporate and openly welcome Mother Nature into your home! I am always trying to find subtle or even more obvious ways to bring nature into any space. And remember, like always It’s All in the Details.

If you would like to be further inspired by ways which you can bring Mother Nature into your home you can view my work or if you have any comments or questions please feel free to contact me.
